To uphold scientific and professional ethical values, Scope Training Center always strives to promote the highest standards of academic integrity among its trainers, employees, and trainees. The center is responsible for creating an environment with high levels of academic integrity by setting standards and regulations for the training process, ensuring academic integrity at all stages of the training process, from trainee registration in training programs, during training, and in the examination and results stages. The center believes that promoting academic integrity is an essential part of the personal and intellectual growth of the trainee, and increasing the awareness of trainees, trainers, and employees about issues related to academic integrity contributes significantly to the progress and prosperity of society by graduating individuals capable of taking responsibility for the advancement and elevation of the nation due to their high ethical values.
Forms of Violations of Academic Integrity Laws:
- Cheating: Copying others' work and unauthorized use of any information and training materials in academic exams or other tasks assigned to trainees.
- Plagiarism: Using others' work as one's own without acknowledging the original author.
- Exploiting Collaboration: A trainee relying on another trainee in their group to complete a joint task or exploiting another trainee to complete individual assignments.
- Fabrication and Forgery: A trainee altering or fabricating information available to them in an exam, or presenting a forged medical certificate to avoid attendance.
- Receiving any help during exams or providing information to another trainee, bringing external papers into the exam, or obtaining unauthorized information from exam creators.
- Unauthorized assistance in exams, fabricating information to support lab results or any other work.
- Impersonating Others: A trainee pretending to be someone else in a class, exam, or any task. Both the impersonating trainee and the trainee facilitating the impersonation will be penalized.
- Other Forms of Impersonation: Trainees who sell lectures, notes, papers, or research work during their registration at the center, or who accept payment for their work for others without prior written approval from the center’s administration, will be subject to disciplinary actions. Similarly, trainees who present falsified petitions or documents will be required to withdraw from the program without any compensation.
Anti-Cheating Measures:
Scope Training Center employs a distinguished model for monitoring students' performance and activities on electronic systems through several electronic measures using specialized global systems and systems developed specifically within the center for this purpose, which work integrally to provide reports on monitoring trainees.
- Monitoring compliance with approved study regulations: The administration records all available Internet data used by the trainee to access electronic systems and verifies if the trainee logs in from a location different from the one used, identifying trainees who resort to offices to perform activities and assignments on their behalf.
- Copying and pasting are disabled on classwork portals, and recurring classwork not based on the personal efforts of trainees is checked and addressed accordingly.
- Trainees’ attendance on electronic systems is monitored and recorded.
- Electronic exams are opened and received at the start of the exam period, and trainees can retake the exam multiple times until they pass with a minimum score of 50%.
Mechanism for Reviewing Trainee Work and Activities:
Scope Training Center relies on a unique method to monitor trainee performance and activities on the electronic platform through integrated specialized global systems to provide reports on monitoring trainees and detecting violations of approved study regulations as follows:
- Monitoring trainee attendance on the electronic platform and recording complete attendance times.
- Recording access privileges on the electronic platform and keeping them in databases for reference when necessary.
Online Attendance Policy
Online attendance is a key to successful learning through e-learning and distance education. In this context, synchronous electronic attendance refers to the virtual presence of a trainee connected to the internet on the e-learning portal or virtual classroom through a computer or mobile device, determining whether the trainee is present in real time.
Main Electronic Attendance Policies:
● Virtual attendance is equivalent to regular attendance in terms of counting hours and the minimum number of hours required to be attended, which should not be less than 25% of the total contact hours for the course.
● The E-Learning and Simulation Unit is responsible for monitoring, supervising, and recording trainee access to e-learning systems and virtual classrooms.
● The attendance and absence of trainees in training courses are automatically recorded through virtual classroom systems.
